After you have created your hand stamped piece of jewelry and applied the oxidization solution to darken the recessed portion of the stamping, you will need to polish it to remove the excess oxidizer. Polishing will also give a bright sheen to your jewelry item.
The most important piece of equipment you can use for polishing is a motor-powered polisher. A common tool most jewelry makers have is called a Dremel, it is a small hand-held polisher that has lots of interchangeable tools.
